" I created Violaa Swimwear with one goal in mind: to design swimwear that makes women feel confident, comfortable, and unapologetically good in their own skin.
When I couldn’t find swimwear that felt truly flattering, I taught myself how to design and sew my own. What began as hand-sewn pieces made for myself and friends in 2015 along the West Coast of British Columbia has since grown into a luxury swimwear brand rooted in thoughtful design, impeccable fit, and intentional craftsmanship.

Every Violaa piece begins with a vision — a silhouette, a color, a feeling. But it’s never just about how a suit looks; it’s about how it feels.
Each design is thoughtfully created to flatter, sculpt, and move with the body, enhancing natural shape through clean lines and considered details.
THE ORIGINAL SILHOUETTES
The Violaa Bottom was the very first design I ever created — a silhouette built to flatter, sculpt, and move with the body. What began as a hand-sewn piece for myself quickly became the foundation of the brand.
Shortly after, the Naomi Top followed — designed to balance softness and structure, offering support without compromising elegance. Together, these two silhouettes shaped the signature Violaa fit that continues to define the collection today.
HANDCRAFTED WITH PURPOSE
Violaa isn’t mass produced. Every garment is handcrafted and made-to-order, from the first cut to the final stitch, with precision, care, and attention to detail.
Creating pieces in small batches and on a made-to-order basis allows me to maintain the highest quality standards while offering designs that feel exclusive, intentional, and thoughtfully made.
